The Jenville Show!

I've posted a demo version of my new project, The Jenville Show, a.k.a. "Cooking with Rockstars." All the pieces aren't there yet, but you'll get a good feel for what it's going to be.
I've had the idea to do a "show" for over a year now. The initial idea was fairly grand: to do a cable-access tv show, in which I am a hip, alternative Martha Stewart, covering music, cooking, and making stuff. I quickly realized that such a project was beyond my resources, so I scaled it down to something I can and will actually do.
The result is web programming that combines my two big passions: cooking and indie rock music. I'm going around talking to all my favorite bands about food, then serving up the interview and a recipe in a gallery-style web site.
I have done 4 interviews so far, and I'm off to Austin for the SXSW music festival next week where I hope to snag a few more. The response from the musicians has been heartwarming and inspiring... you'd be surprised at how many rockers have a passion for cooking. And those that don't cook, eat, and are happy to talk about it. Some have said it's a pleasant break from the same-ol' interview questions.
The Jenville Show is sure to keep me busy this spring as I sharpen my (non-existent) video editing skills and continue to add to the roster. I'd love to hear your ideas and feeback for making it the best Rock-Cooking Show on the Internet. Who knows what it will become. The beginning of my Jenville Media Empire? I may be the next hip, underground Martha Stewart after all!
